Selling a 1981 MSA D 10/12 Double Neck pedal steel. 10 floors and 4 knees. Great condition! Triple raise and lower changer. Asking $2200. Nice original case.

Are you sure it's triple raise/triple lower? I've never seen a vintage MSA with anything but double up and down.

| Well John, now you can say you've seen one! I've worked on a few of the double raise/double lower MSA's. All of them had individual holes for the little guide sleeve over the pull rod to pass through. This changer is factory slotted so the triple raise/lower will work. If you zoom the endplate picture you can see the division line/split between the raises and lowers. There are three holes under the space. There are three holes above it although they are hard to see in this image. This is the only one like this that I've had my hands on but I've seen a picture of at least one other. It's a really nice guitar that you could put about any modern setup on. I never bothered with adding the vertical but those (and more knee levers) are readily available for this steel. |

Mr. Anderson was kind enough to provide the info on the date. It was originally shipped to Devere Music (believed to have been in Iowa). The specific date of completion for the steel was not listed in the records but he estimated it at 1981.

I also have a vintage XL d10 and its a tripple/ tripple, but I agree most were d/d and some were T/ D.
