When I walked into the Sheraton, the first resonator guitar I saw was this beauty:


I immediately went up to the second floor to check out Benoit's other guitars. They're beautifully made and great sounding.

In my case....you're preachin' to the choir......Carroll is one of the best.....and nicer folks (Carroll & Anita) you'll never meet.....

Hi Brad, thanks for the pics!

Great to meet you finally.

I played the Wisenborn (sp?), Carrol called it his 'cajun-born' Smile - had an open D tuning on it and it was amazing - all his work is fantastic.

Kevin Brown played the CajunBorn in his sets....which I'll post.....btw.....I was in the main ballroom when I heard....."Is there a Chris Kennison in the house"......guess your bagge fee went up unexpectedly..... Whoa!

I played that Weissenborn quite a lot - just a wonderful instrument. I find myself pining for it today, in fact. They had an 8-string model also.
