When I walked into the Sheraton, the first resonator guitar I saw was this beauty:
I immediately went up to the second floor to check out Benoit's other guitars. They're beautifully made and great sounding.

Hi Brad, thanks for the pics!
Great to meet you finally.
I played the Wisenborn (sp?), Carrol called it his 'cajun-born' - had an open D tuning on it and it was amazing - all his work is fantastic.

Kevin Brown played the CajunBorn in his sets....which I'll post.....btw.....I was in the main ballroom when I heard....."Is there a Chris Kennison in the house"......guess your bagge fee went up unexpectedly.....

I played that Weissenborn quite a lot - just a wonderful instrument. I find myself pining for it today, in fact. They had an 8-string model also. |
