I'm looking for tunings for a Fender Stringmaster D-8. I have one on loan for a while and it's been in the case the last 15 years untouched. I've been on Pedal Steel 25+ years but my first try at the 'old school' non-pedal style. Once I get the tunings, I'm getting out my Hank Sr. recordings.

Looking for the top neck (or front neck)
and back neck - as if you were standing behind it.

Thanks in advance for what I'm sure is a well traveled subject on the forum.

There are quite a few tunings for 8 string steel.
Don Helms' tunings are here:

More standard tunings are here.
