I was going to hold this for a trade but can't because of my Daughter's problem.
She and her family has lost everything they owned to a flood in Keller Texas last week.
The Red Cross only gave her $250.00 to replace all her furnishing and bedding for both kids.
Even my Boss donated $500.00 and She got another $500.00 from family but it is no where enough to replace everything well just the basics will run a lot more than even what we will be able to help with.
But her Mother and I will do our best to help.
I thought I'd better sell this Carter and my amp and get her some addition funds to help out some more.
Other Items for sale also

NV 112 with optional cover and foot switch
SOLD
Please purchase through Ebay account.
I will still send Bob a donation if you do.
Thanks very much

Hi Lee
I believe Landon 3 months will need most everything as will Baylee 10 years old.
Best course of action if you or anyone would like to help is send donations (cash only please) to the following place and person.
Imagine if everyone in the forum sent just $1.00 how much that would help her.
Remember when you were young??
Well I didn't have a pot to......... well you know the rest!

Hay Dave,
Sorry to hear about your trouble. Question: if you raise enough money to meet your daughter's needs, wuould you be able to keep your steel? How much would that be?...we all know how it goes when you need to get rid of something so precious like a steel guitar, although I understand that your daughter is more precious than anything else.
I will send a donation at the adress you provided.
Good luck Dave |

Look............
I know not too many of you know me but please don't hold out just for that reason.
That should not be a reason not to help.
I am a straight shooter.
This is the real deal and not any kind of a scam.
Anyone who watched the National news last week knows these areas here in DFW were hit very hard with major flooding.
I would almost never ask for help from anyone, for myself, but our kids are something else.
I check my pride when it comes to our kids.
Please help if you can.
Thanks

I could not ask anyone else to help if I don't do my part also. I have another steel and a small fender amp that I will try to keep for now.
Thanks very much for asking.
I am unsure how much it would take to rebuild thier little house but I would guess a lot more than we could collect from donations.
Of course this is in a no flood area, so flood insurance wasn't required when the kids bought the house last September 06.
I think the donations will just get the house free of all the nasty flood germs, chemicals, and sewage waste that enters into the house during the flood. We have ripped out all of the floors, carpets, baseboards sheetrock, insulation and doors that were affected. We have thrown out what could not be cleaned or salvaged. Most of thier furniture was particle board. It fell apart when we moved it.
The really bad thing is a desk 4 generations old left to her by her great great grandmother was swept out the door and busted when the house was opened up to allow the waters to flow through. It was priceless!
They will do without things like TV's and computers for now. Fridge, Washer, Dryer and anything for the most part that was plugged in and below waist level was shorted or blown.
I am sure God has a purpose for all this???????
What don't kill you will just make you stronger I've heard.
It is sure kicking our butts right now.
Needless to say they are, for the most part, homeless right now. When you can't go into your home and sleep it's the same thing as being homeless!!!!
They are staying with friends for now. Our grandkids are at the inlaws house during the week and ours on the weekends.....
Thanks for any help.

My heart felt thanks to Dick Sexton of Newport, NC for the wonderful donation to my daughter's relief fund.
The 1st of many fine donations to come. God Bless you Dick and your family.
