In the discussion about his tuning for the first clip here on the IGS forum, it appears he tunes to GGDGBD, low to high, with the lowest G sitting one octave below the 5th string G. Shocked

Will try that out with a fat string I've got somewhere!

Are those regular-size Weisses or baritones? Never seen a baritone in action, so don't know how much bigger they are but--especially in the second clip (Garberville/Her Mind is Gone)--the guitar looks deep. . .or maybe it's just the camera angle?

Cool clips--I love hearing solo steel.
