Dekley Slimline D-10 vs. Sierra Crown keyless D-10 vs. MCI RangeXpander (EMCI) D-10?
Hi, I know that this is another one of these subjective polls, and that these are all fine guitars, but I would like to get some feedback for these three, as they are all available, all about the same price, and all seem to be really good, all in nice condition.

Cliff,Those are all good guitars,I have a Dekley and it's great...that would be a hard decision to make.

Experience tells me the RangeXpander would be my first choice. The tone and playability, when set up properly is simply amazing...very Emmonsy. If I were you, I'd grab it while I had the chance.
My second choice would be the Dekley, but at my age with my tricky back, I just might pass on that one...they are rather heavy. I don't know the Sierra guitars, having never played one.

| Definitely EMCI or MCI. Currently I'm playing a 20 year old D-10 EMCI. Once I got it set up and adjusted to my feel, it's been the best playing guitar I've played in a long time. Years ago, I had a few Dekleys but couldn't keep either one in tune. As far as the D-10 Sierra's, great built guitar but just to heavy for me. |
