I got one of these last night.
The one I got us slightly different. It has a bound ebony fretboard, (the one in the picture is rosewood.) and simple dot fret (abalone) fret markers on all but the 12th fret. Only the 12 fret has a scorpion inlay.
The bubinga and mahogany body gives a darker and more mellow tone that the usual swamp ash. The neck pickup sounds awesome, and the middle position is rich and full, but the bridge pickup lacks some of the tele twang. I'll probably replace it.
The neck through body and recessed cutaway make it real easy to get all the way up the neck.
Te guitar is heavier than most other teles. But the added mass adds to the sustain. The guitar really resonates when you play it unplugged.
Definitely a keeper. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

Congrats Mike, that is beautiful indeed.
It's been said here before, and it's worth repeating: What an elegant shape and design the Telecaster is.
Just makes one want to pick it up and play! |

Jerry, it's another Ravenwest. (I work for them and get them ether free or at manufacturer's cost. Remember? This one was a freebie.)

This one is made of all places in Indonesia. Everybody's setting up factories and getting into the act.
BTW the web site need to be updated. We just got in a new shipment of the Semi-hollow teles that the web site says are sold out. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.
