Jimmy played steel with the dearly departed and hugely talented roots artist Ray Condo. Any info on him would be appreciated!

| Jimmy spent the last few years gigging and recording with Big Sandy and the Fly-rite Boys. Don't know if he still does. Also a very good guitar player. Plays a custum tele made by forumite Mike Black. Super nice guy too. |

I spoke with Jimmy Roy in Lethbridge, Alberta in June 2006, in between sets of a concert by his latest group, The Knotty Pines, during a western Canada tour. I enjoy recordings of Jimmy's work with Big Sandy, Ronnie (or Ronny) Hayward, Ray Condo, and now, The Knotty Pines.
