Hi All
I have been wrestling with an Emmons P/P for about a year now and skulking around this forum for about the same time, so I thought "everyone seems friendly, so why not do the honest thing and join" so here I am. I would like to thank John Davis of Cambridge UK for all the help he has been giving me.
I can play 6 string and a bit of keyboards but this animal is different, so hopefully you all can put up with what may be silly questions at some time or other.

Best Regards Ron Mc Smile

Welcome Ron...

I'm pretty green (not Lloyd!) on PSG too and we aren't alone here amigo. Ask all the "silly" questions you like, it'll save me from asking them all! Laughing

Regards,

Dennis

Hi Ron
Welcome aboard. I'm a relative newby here too, though like you I've been watching the forum for a few years.I've been playing for 40 years and still learning, and still disatisfied with my playing. Every novice steel player I've ever heard has done somthing, or had a tone or a feel that I've thought 'Oh that was nice'. I just wish something like this was available when I started. Ask, ask and ask again, there are wonderful peaople here who will go out of their way to help. John's a friend to many players in England, he'll help all he can.
Do you sit there just looking at your steel and smiling ???. You do ?,,,,,You're hooked man.
Best wishes
Barry

Ron:
I am new also, and still haven't even purchased that first steel yet. I just feel that I will be WAY AHEAD of the game when I do, because of all the great info that I have received here. Best thing since mayo and mustard.
