Our band "Landon Dodd and The Dancehall Drifters" has been invited to play the "Texas Independence Day " music festival Saturday March 3rd in the Stockyards in Ft.Worth.The line up is great, it includes Johnny Bush,Jake Hooker,The Insiders,Randy Brown and more.It last all day,it should be a lot of fun.Here's a link to the site,it has all the details.

Gosh isn't it nice to live in Texas and have available all this entertainment and great food. This state is so culturally rich and diverse....there's always something good goin' on. I hope all the folks in Dallas/Ft. Worth will get out and support this event. Texas our Texas, All hail the mighty state!!! |

Is Dicky Overbey still working with Jake? I love those guys music. I have been recruited to play fiddle for Leona Williams here in TN next month. She records with those TX guys and it's uh uh uh COUNTRY!!!!

Dickey still holds the steel guitar chair with Jake but Rick Price will be filling in for Dickey on March 3rd. Rick and I will be pickin with Jake's dad, Tommy, on Friday night at Pearl's. Come see us!
