Have been watching some of the old shows on the RFD tv network lately and noticed on the Wilburn Brothers show that Jack Greene has been on and who do you suppose is the steel player with the blond hair playing an Emmons guitar. Only question I have was it a PP or a Legrand Ron?

I will guess and say a push-pull since those shows were done in the 60's and early 70's.

Joe,
The old Camel country is a real estate office now and that area is the most trendy part of east Nashville. The price of houses over there are just through the roof. I lived around the corner from Camel Country for nine years and that house has went up four fold over. There is about 5-6 bars in that neighborhood along with coffee shops, outside cafes and all within walking distance. Lots live music there and really east Nashville is just a mecca of entertainment places.

Frank that sure was a fun time back then but I remember I had to keep checking the car where it was parked. The times I go to Nashville actually Hendersonville ,we never have gone back down there. I heard the former owner of the club Bob Niblette or Bayou Bob is not doing too well Healthwise.

Joe, did you know that both brothers that owned the club, Gene and Chuck Mowry have passed away. Gene worked behind the bar and Chuck played bass. I enjoyed working with them both. Chuck was funny,..he said he knew the only way we would let him play bass, was if he bought the club...and they did.
We always had a good time. We remember them well ! Ron
