What a great song,i'd bet if someone like Sarah Evans or Gretchen Wilson did a re-make ,it would be a number one.

For my money, the wrong Tucker achieved stardom. La Costa has so much more control of her voice than does her sister. Pete Drake sounds less like 'Pete Drake' on this recording than usual.

I am afraid that if it were re-recorded today, it would be so over-produced that its beautiful simplicity would be lost. Thank you for posting it Walter....it is now on my hard disk to enjoy over and over again.
