I'm eager to hear these. Looks like it would make a great front end for the Crate Powerblock. Wish they would have included a speaker emulated output for recording/direct to the board stuff. Very cool. Bring on the Twin Reverb and Tremolux pedals! N. _________________ Buckaroo ShowPro, Quilter Aviator, (plus all that other stuff....) |

Let me start by saying that I really hope that these are great sounding pedals....I will now say what my thought's are ....Advertising is a weapon used by many companies to sell us what they want us to buy .... Take some very sought after amps, put their names on pedals, and they will sell like wildfire !!..... It would be like someone putting out pedals with names like " Emmons 65" on it ...or .... " Early Shobud" ....How about buying a pedal that says "Anapeg" ..... I'm not saying that these will be bad sounding pedals, and I really hope that they have some resemblense to the amps that they are representing .... I couldn't resist saying what I thought when I saw these pedals listed .... .........Jim |

I'm thinking, (hoping) that since Fender let them use their logo, these may be cool. Though Fender is pretty dang corporate these days I don't think they'd let the logo be on something bad. Can't wait to hear some feedback. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |

I dunno Michael, I'd have to say the Fender Malibu was of questionable 'goodness', at least IMHO |

It seems to me the problem with all these pedals designed for guitar is that even if they do create something close to the sound they are after on guitar where a real hot pup will be close 10,000ohms on a steel with 17 to 20Kohms they get overdriven too easily---sure look cool though! |

Why won't Fender put out rack versions of the Deluxe preamp and power amp? Those would be pretty interesting.
One of the more unique 6-string tones I've heard was a Twin preamp into a bunch of McIntosh power amps.

It says these pedals are based on Boss's COSM modeling. I've heard that the Boss GT-Pro has some pretty nice models in it. I know there are some big pro's that use the GT-Pro on the road for pedal steel. So maybe these pedals have the same models loaded in there. They'll be interesting to hear at least. If you think about it, that Deluxe Reverb pedal is a pretty darn compact preamp with drive, volume, EQ, tremolo, and reverb.

FDR-1: Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb
Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp
Features
The second in the new Legend Series is the FDR-1, based on the Fender 1965-era Deluxe Reverb — a coveted tube amp known for its natural touch-responsive and distinctive snappy overdriven sound. In conjunction with Fender, BOSS designed this stompbox to recreate the legendary tone of the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. Features include the same controls on the original Deluxe Reverb: Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato and Reverb. The FDR-1 also functions perfectly as a “pre-gain pedal” placed before an already overdriven amp to add the tone character of the Deluxe Reverb.
Recreates the legendary tone of the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb guitar amp
Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato and Reverb controls
Road-tough BOSS metal construction
Perfect pre-gain pedal for adding or retaining Fender tone color

I've got both of these original amps. So, I guess now I can just get rid of 'em then
These look easier to move around, but where do they fit the speaker in these darn things:?: |

Jay,
You better bring your amps down here while you try out your new pedals !!....Somehow I get the feeling you're gonna be wanting them back !!..... especially when you find out that they haven't made the accessory speaker that goes with the new pedal !!....Jim |

Now if Webb would only come out with a Webb pedal. Somehow I think this is nonesense. Where's the speaker? Why not just buy the amp? Duh! |
