Herman, you started the thread...so where were you?

Big fun the other night at Rancho Nicasio. I love these guys! They opened with a fine version of "Together Again" and singer Angela Strehli joined them for the encore.

The Haciendas are building quite a following. At the table next to us was folk legend Ramblin' Jack Elliott.

I think they are one of the finest bands working today. DB (Dave Berzansky), sounded great on his Sho-Bud (and he had a new/old Sho-Bud amp with a JBL speaker he snagged off of ebay for $220-man I have to be more dilligent about checking in on that site!), and we had a nice visit with him during the break between sets. Lead guitarist Dave Gonzalez was on fire, between his Danelectro baritone guitar and his Tele. My wife's new boots from Christmas got broken in-we did a lot of dancing!

Got to talk with their fine bass player, Hank, before the show.

These fellas are just a class act all the way.

And we had never been to dinner at the Rancho. The food was very good.

A great time was had by all!

Very Happy

Yeah, I knew that Bobby will be there with Gary Vogenson-I saw them a few months ago at a little club in Petaluma that unfortunately has, or is, closing down. Forumite Billy Wilson sat in with them and played some fine piano!

Don't know if we're up for the journey from Windsor to Nicasio two weeks in a row...but you never know.

Sorry to hear about the food poisoning-I hate when that happens!
