Donna has a web-site; go to google then enter www.donnahammitt.com, click on "tab example" for a sample of her tab then click on "here" to hear the tab played. I think it obvious why she is with a big name band; this lady is good! |

Thanks for the link, I've known Donna since she first came to town and waht a sweetheart and such a good player.
She subbed down at Gabes for Cal Sharp one night and she looked so young and innocent and I thought what in heck is she doing in here (she couldn't have been old enough to drink). After several kickoffs and some really good tasty rides I formed a whole different opinion of Donna. I really respect her as a person and as a player.
We have been friends since then. I haven't stayed in touch with her but I saw her at Murph's Funeral and she told me she had gotten married. So any way Donna good web site and keep up the good picking!

How lucky can a man be; to have a wife that can play a steel that good! I think I might even give up fishing. |

She used to be my pen-pal way back when. Glad to see things worked out so well for her. I know she got married, and the last I read, she'd gotten a degree in nursing. She may be working in that field now.
