I am now making custom split cases for Emmons Push Pulls and LeGrandes, Zums, and MSA's, as well as Sho-Buds and ZB's. These are split cases. One for the body and one for the pedal rack and legs. The body case has external wheels on one end of the case with a spring handle on the other. It takes a solid twenty pounds off the weight of transporting an Emmons guitar by splitting the cases and makes transporting a breeze. You just wheel the body case around like luggage. The cases feature:
1) Light but strong construction.
2) Genuine durable classic Fender Tolex covering.
3) Aluminum ball corners and corner brackets for reinforcement and protection. These cases will never fall apart.
4) Beautiful wine plush velour interiors. Other colors available.
5) Premium hardware.
The guitar is float mounted in the case so that neither the changer nor the keyhead is touching the case. The front of the guitar is also offset from the case for protection. This was something that peeved me for years when looking at other cases.
The cost is $339.95 plus shipping for the set of two cases. These cases are meant to enhance the value of your steel guitar while providing transport ease and protection. These are very nice cases. I will post pictures shortly. Hatton Split Cases (716)-691-6527.

The edges on the inside of these cases are beveled downward to aid in making the case waterproof and add strength. I will unconditionally guarantee the quality of these cases or your money back. I am starting to make cases for other brands of guitars also. I can also cover these cases in Ozite (Gray or Black) for those that prefer it. I can also do snakeskin, Fender Tweed, and other colors. [This message was edited by Kevin Hatton on 21 August 2006 at 08:14 PM.] [This message was edited by Kevin Hatton on 21 August 2006 at 09:35 PM.] |

I put alot of thought into these cases and I'm proud of them. They are not your average cases. They are real nice. |

Thanks for the overwhelming response on these cases. These cases are very nice. Just to answer some questions. Yes, I can do them without wheels or a spring handle for $250.00 plus shipping. Yes, I accept credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express). [This message was edited by Kevin Hatton on 27 August 2006 at 01:17 PM.] |

Just to answer another question. Yes I am making cases for Emmons LeGrandes, both the short and long keyhead series. They are both custom fitted. |

Erv, I'm designing now. I have a double neck Stringmaster here to work from, but the quad is going to take some extra planning. The tweed will look great. |

Kevin --
My Emmons SKH Legrande case arrived yesterday and it's really nice. For folks wondering what might be great about getting a Hatton case...
- fits like a glove
- excellent build quality
- tolex outside is perfect
- inside red velour is perfect
- hardware is top quality
- back-saving weight reduction and wheels (nice wheels!)
- packed and shipped with obvious care
during the entire purchase and build process, Kevin kept in touch and updated me on the progress. he worked with me at the outset to ensure the right fit for the guitar, and emailed me at least once a week to keep me in the loop. that kind of treatment really makes you feel good about spending your money with him. and then you get the case!...
Many thanks Kevin - i'll probably order another case from you soon.
Mike

Kevin called me yesterday and filled me in on the progress on my case. This is going to be a very custom case. For one thing, it is for a Quad Fender Stringmaster and it is going to be done up in original Fender tweed with gold hardware. At the price of Stringmasters these days, why scrimp on a case.
After Kevin gets through with this case, he's going to start on a case for my T-8 Stringmaster, and then and then . |

Thanks guys. I have received many orders. I have just hired a shop helper. Quality and customer service is #1 to me. Erv, I'm ordering brass screws for your case. They were very hard to find. I have all the other gold hardware. Your case is is designed, and cut. I'm assembling it and covering it tomorrow. I want it to be absolutely perfect.
The next one will go much easier and faster.[This message was edited by Kevin Hatton on 08 October 2006 at 08:41 PM.] |
