I have two amps to sell that would be perfect for lap steel or guitar. These are both 15 watt tube amps, EL-84 output tubes. The Fender has reverb, the PV does not.
Amp #1 - Fender Blues Junior, blond tolex, comes with black cover. Excellent condition, low hours. $250
Amp #2 - Peavey Classic 20 This amp has a history which I will try to detail here. The output transformer went out and was replaced with an OEM transformer. Also this amp fell off of a stand and the grill cloth and speaker were damaged and replaced with new OEM speaker and grill cloth. When I replaced the grill cloth I didn't get it stretched tightly enough. If you look at it at just the right angle, you can tell it's loose. I still have more that enough grill cloth left over to replace it and will include it with the amp. This amp has no cover. This amp works fine but if you get to poking around inside, you can tell that the output transformer was replaced and I did not want hide any historical details from a potential buyer. $200
I would like to sell these amps in the Houston area if possible. E-mail for pictures.

The Blues Junior is MIM and it is the later design without all the reverb problems. |
