Just a quick note that the new tunes are up on the jbfc site. The wife and I have both been down quite ill the last three days with some kinda bug or food poisoning..we know not which.
"South Sea Moon" http://www.jerrybyrdfanclub.com/
clearly demonstrates what Jerry told me several times over the many years we corresponded......that being: It's not the fast picking or the affects boxes, it's what your listener hears that makes him like it.
This is a clear demonstration as to what can be done with just six or seven strings and a perfectly matched amp and guitar.
Hope y'all like it! The rythm guitar surely helps in filling the empty spots in the melody line.

Ray I would love to hear this,

but the only in browser app for Quicktime
that plays Win Media files,
ALSO breaks Quicktime...

So if I install it I lose my video editing,
YouTube playback and much much more.

So it would be lovely if you could also do a link for a .mov. or better yet .mp3 file for us
winmedia impaired lovers of Jerrys playing.

Ray I really appreciate these posts. I just love steel guitars and JB is my alltime favorite. He can squeeze more music out of a steel than anyone even BE who is surely a master.
