Jeff Strouse asked me privately for the reason why this topic was closed. I have closed this topic because I didn't see any indication in it that Ms. Rittenband played lap steel. I certainly appreciate her contributions to Hawaiian music, but I don't believe the No Peddlers section was the appropriate area to discuss her influence on Hawaiian music. The Our Extended Family section is more appropriate, and it's where the discussions are taking place.

I left the existing thread in the No Peddlers section so that people who are interested could select the links included to go to the discussions in Our Extended Family.
