Bob....the guitar you have is indeed one of the oldest MSA "production" guitars. The guitars we made just a few before your's were different, and not specifically designed for high production.

Records show it to be a black and white double 12 which left the factory with 10 pedals and 6 knee levers, which is one of the most pedal/knee levers we installed on an older MSA.

It was originally shipped to a retail store called Jones Music, location unknown.

No production date was entered, but I would guess it was made in late 1973.

Bob, are you sure it's not SN 2C0113?

Reece, late 73? (The reason I ask is that by mid '73, the "2C" SN's were well over 1000.)

From Bob's other post describing this guitar, I think Maurice meant to say 1963 instead of 1973. I had a white tidewood '72 or '73 D-12 with round cross shafts and four hole pullers.
