I haven't been able to surf in at Steel Guitar Nashville's site for several days now at http://www.steelguitar.net/ Do you have the same problem over there, or is there a kink on the Atlantic cable?

It worked for me a couple hours ago, and just worked again. The link is right so the problem must be on your end.

I still can't get there (regardless of cookie settings), and I can't understand why, 'cause I can surf in to all other sites that I've tried.
Thanks for taking time to check!

I just tried this morning and had no problem getting into Bobbe's site. I do not see Bobbe as the kind of person to knock out our steel brothers from across the big pond. I would tend to think it has something to do with servers. I hope the problem is solved quickly for you guys.

I got confused looking for it and went to "www.steelguitarnashville.com" which says it is coming soon. It wasn't until I saw this thread that I remembered it was "www.steelguitar.net."

Maybe that's the problem for everyone else?

Hi Burton,
I had mine on my favourites as I go on that site every day, so the address was right. Local Steelies are getting on but their ISP is different to mine.

I'm going bananas! I'm tempted to try a sledgehammaer to fix this ##&%! pc!
Now the e-mail program doesn't accept the mail address sales@steelguitar.net when I try to mail Bobbe and ask if he knows what to do with this problem. Does Bobbe have other e-mail addresses that I can try?
I get Bobb's weekly news mails whithout a problem from that very address every week, but the opposite way seemes to be impossible. Aaaargh!

Hey guys, I'll check with my servers, I sure don't want any overseas customers to be slighted in anyway, shape or form.
This must be fixable somehow. I'll keep you posted.

Well, the problem has been found and isn't your problem and isn't our problem, it seems as though an international virus is jamming several of the channels by overloading the system with nonsense. Someone with too much time on there hands thinks it's funny to cause the world havoc. I'm sure the internet companies will get it all fixed soon and put up blocks and measures to hold this kind of aggrivation to a minimum in the future.
All we can do now is sit and wait, and we'll be glad to take any phone calls and answer e-mail questions in the meantime. Thank you everyone for caring.
I have been told by the internet companies that everyone should run their anti virus programs and check their computers for any problems that could affect the recieving of international web-sites.

Thanks Bobbe! I'll wait and see.

I check for Norton's updates daily and run their complete system search thru every day, so my pc must be clean if Norton do what they should.
Ad-aware is a pretty good clean-up program also, and the basic version is free.

Hi Ken,
I do very much appreciate the beauties of life, several things to consider though, a Steel Guitar won't. Divorce you, have Mood Swings, run off with your money (apart from the initial outlay), you can sell it and recoup your outlay (at least the majority of it.
It's always ready when YOU are.
It doesn't argue back.

This doesn't mean if I get to Nashville I won't invite Bobbe and Brandy out for Lunch and provide her with a nice bouquet of flowers.

Chippy - fair comments. However, if I had a choice between being stuck on a desert island with Brandy or your Emmons - no contest I'm afraid. In that case 2 legs are better than 4!!

Halleluleå! SGN:s site is reachable again also from the old world! I wonder what was wrong.
I'm just back again from a four weeks vacation, and that seemes to be what was needed to bring it back. But now I've burnt all money on the vacation trip, so I can't afford to order anything from SGN... (sigh!)
