Once again I saw an awesome performance of REAL counrty music. Gene Watson was at the Top Rail Ballroom in Dallas last night. Gene is still singing as great as ever, and Corky's performance on steel is so commercial and professional. Sounds just like the dang record. I was able to solo Gene's voice and Corky's though the headphones on the house console. Aren't you jealous?? Great music, great folks.
Regards,

Thanks, Terry. That means a lot coming from a player like yourself. But if you ever solo me in the phones again, i'll have to kill you. And Damir. There is good country in Nashburg. But most of it comes from Broadway, the place i go when i'm in Nashburg. You guy's forget the radio and play what we love.

How I wish there were more Gene Watsons
in country music today IMHO Gene is truly
one of the best. And Corky is one of those
keeping our beloved steel alive. Our band
had the honor of opening for Gene about a
year ago in Fredricksburg Va. Gene and all
of the band where most gracious to us.Thanks
Corky for allowing me to play through your
amp.Hope to see you again.
Have a safe and HAPPY THANKSGIVING
