I just got home from a visit back in Oklahoma. My buddy Kent Schoonover of Schoonover Resophinc Guitars came over to see me the other day while I was there and we went out to pick some bluegrass. He took me by his shop to show me 6 new guitars in the making. WOW!! He will be in Nashville for the National bluegrass show in October at the convention center. This would be a grand opportunity to see this wonderful guitar and maybe get your hands on one of your own. I will probably take off a couple of days just to hang out with Kent while he is here. Don't miss out seeing and playing this guitar. It is fabulous!!!

I recently recieved my all mahogany Schoonover. I was expecting a lot, and feel I got even more than I expected. I've had an opportunity to do several gigs with it, and couldn't be happier! Kent's workmanship is first class!

I'd like to second what's been said about Kent's guitars. I have a rosewood/spruce Schoononver and it kicks butt. Workmanship second to none and it's really is sweet and nasty at the same time.
