Yeah that does seem somewhat on the high side, esp. as an opening bid amount

Presently relisted; opening bid is now $1800...I assume Bucky is still playing steel - anybody know what make guitar he's gone to?

It seems that this guitar was being sold at higher than market value because of it's history.

The description has more about "who it's played with" than info about the guitar.

Steels don't seem to have that "collectable premimum" as much as standard guitars do.

At least not yet.
