I am terminating the relief effort to raise funds to purchase Buddy Cage a replacement guitar in lieu of his stolen one (see John Arnold's post below, letter from Buddy). All of you who sent checks please void them. I have cashed none and will shred them tomorrow. For those of you who sent cash or money orders I will be returning them to you. Thank you all for your valiant effort. It is a tribute to our forum that we did this. |

Great Job Kevin, It was a successful effort and you should be proud. I am sending my portion to the Forum as I stated in the other thread.
I would encourage others to do the same. I'm glad Buddy is doing well, it's good to see his moral is up.
Thanks again, Craig |

Kevin, just a thought. The money orders I assume are made out to you. I don't think the issuer can take them and cash them. You might have to cash them and send them a money order or check. I'm not positive on this, but it might be worth checking into.

Hey Kevin, I would like to thank you for your hard work, and efforts in this unfortunate situation. you can be proud of the responce you received from everyone in the SG family.
As for Buddy Cage,I commend his actions,a lesser person would have just said thanks, and took the money. I think there is a lesson learned here, at least for me.
JOB WELL DONE>>>Ronnie
