Hi Guys,

I have a triple neck Fender and a De Armond 610 pedal.

The setup works pretty well but I have noticed a few things that have an adverse effect on the depth of the "boo-wah" effect and wondered if anyone could advise me.

Firstly, the effect is fine on the first neck (nearest to me), less pronounced on the middle neck and doesn't work at all on the 3rd.

Secondly, the effect seems to work much better on amplifiers with a single input per channel as opposed to the Fender style amps with 2 inputs per channel. Also it seems to work better on an amp with a single tone knob (although maybe there are just fewer controls for me to screw up). The best sound I ever got was through a vintage Fender Champ in a studio one time.

Lastly, if I introduce any other effects pedal into the line (even if it is switched off) the boo-wah effect disappears altogether.

ALthough I understand very little about electricity, by gut feeling is that this might all be to do with impedence?

Can anyone advise on any mods that could be made to my guitar or a magic box (impedence matcher????) that can resolve this problem. I'm not so interested in amplifier mods as I often have to plug into an amp supplied by a club or festival and then find I have to do without my only gimmick!!! but, for the record, my main live amp is a Musicman 65-210.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a fault in my guitar as I noticed the same issues with another triple-neck I owned.

Look forward to hearing from some of you.
