I was just wondering if I'm the only one who bought a Session 2000 New, and still has it. Seems like a lot of the New owners have sold them.

I still have mine.
Versatile, good sounds. Play strat, steel, or bass.
If I were to buy an amp today, it would be a rack mount pre, effects, and tuner, and two of the PV 15" powered extensions.

I still have mine also, but at home I use my Session 500 with the mod kit and it is still my favorite. Have also been considering a Webb two piece. |

I may sell mine and go to a rack system. When you're past 40, lifting isn't as much fun as it used to be and after back surgery, it's less fun. They're state of the art amps and very rare. |

I was using 2 Session 400s and a Profex II for about 7 years. I bought a 2000. Now don't have to carry so much. Took a while to get used to it,but now I love it. |

Al, I don't know off of the top my head on the weight but will find the info on it. It and the slave digital amp PX300 is in their factory crates along with the covers and leg remote RC2000 and memory card.
Wayne, they have the same look as the Nashville 1000 but the 2000 has the same programming unit as the ProFex ll and takes the same card.
I used it one time and packed it in the original Peavey boxes for my move from Arizona to California and haven't unpacked them since. I haven't played out since the move and am using my Session 500 at home for now.[This message was edited by Gary Walker on 30 August 2002 at 09:41 PM.] |

Al, I have a house full of company but I think the weight of the 2000 is about the same as the 1000 and it's in the 55-57lb range. Will look up the official later on, thanks, Gary. |

The weight of the Session 2000 and Nashville 1000 should be approximately the same as they both use the same speaker, cabinet and power amp. The only difference is the preamp.
Our UPS scales indicate 57lbs.
