I received an e-mail from the great and gifted Mr. Doyle Holly the other day stating that he, Willie Cantu, and Tom Brumley will be starting a "Buckaroos Reunion Tour" on September 1, 2005. No word yet as to where the first engagement will take place, but it is so exciting to see these three gentlemen get back out there in the spotlight! I certainly hope that Mr. Tom can still make it to the ISGC-2005 in St. Louis this year, but if not, it is still great news to know that these legends of great American music will be able to reach a new generation of fans! There are two websites with available information: www.doyleholly.com
www.actsnashville.com

CHECK IT OUT!!!

Yours truly,

I wish either of the websites would have listed the current tour dates. Doyle was my first gig in Nashville and he left a lasting impression on me as a green kid.

Hey Smiley,
Aren't you and Doyle good pals? See if you can squeeze a couple of tour dates out of him for us! THANKS!

Smiley is most definitely "one-of-a-kind", but he's still a pretty good guy (at least from what few times I've been around him)! Whenever I hear the Bellamy Brothers sing "He's An Old Hippie", Smiley comes immediately to mind for some reason. Back on track here, I certainly hope to catch one of Doyle, Tom, and Willie's performances! What a class-act this will be!
