It's too early in the a.m. to remember the title of the song - but I think it was "Wait for my Savior". WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Years ago, I saw him at Center Stage in Atlanta. I had terrific seats - second row, center. Francine was with him. THAT will spoil you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only other time I've been second row, center was when Sprint announced its layoff of some-20,000 employees.

Lemme guess, Donna--the Lyle Lovett second row center was more fun than the other one. Right? Right?
Lyle's cool.

Francine Reed - powerhouse vocals that will slap you upside the head. Lyle Lovett only tours with top-notch musicians, and she sparkles among them.

I saw that ACL show too. Lyle and his band are the true definition of a class act. That song was sure a great one. I'm glad to see that he still carries a pedal steel guitar player. The credits flew by so fast that I didn't catch the PSG players name, but he sure was good. I hope I can make it to see him live sometime.

Richard, I'm guessing that would be the marvelous Buck Reid, who's been with Lyle for many years. Lyle has a brand new live CD out that's fantastic, and Buck gets some good licks in. Back when I used to play with Jan Smith around Atlanta, Francine Reed would sit in with us from time to time. She is truly the Queen of throwdown!

It was Buck Reid on the ACL show. And Buck is as good as it gets playing that new JCH guitar. I've been waiting for the new cd of his to come out. Let me say, Buck doesn't have to take a back seat to any player. He is a pure pleasure to listen to. Maybe he'll let us know where to get the new cd. And Buck is a Scholar and a Gentleman and a true friend. Buck, you got your ears on? How about the new cd.
