Anybody knows what Hoot Hester is up to after
leaving the Time Jumpers?
I hope he is cutting a CD or something like that.
He is a really great singer as well as a top notch musician and I think it is a pity the Time Jumpers only have made two CD´s
up til now.

I saw them in Sept, and there seemed no parting of the ways there.

But Carolyn did say she had to work on the web site in the near future....
hmmm maybe a hint.

Hoot Hester leaving The Time Jumpers

Tonight, founding Time Jumpers member Hoot Hester informed us that he will shortly be leaving the band to pursue some personal goals. He will be sorely missed by the remaining members and certainly by our loyal fans. Hoot's musicianship, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on those of us who have been lucky enough to work with him.

We wish him the very best, both professionally and privately, and hope he will be back to "sit in" from time to time. Next Monday, September 20, will be his last appearance as a member of the Time Jumpers.

I was there that night too. Not a clue this was going down.

I re-booked my flights to make sure I could see this show, since they weren't playing the monday after ISGC.
And now I am even MORE glad I cought that show.

No idea what he's up too.

Hoot told me that he is attempting to assist his 20-something yr. old daughter in a singing career.

Hi Smiley.
I see your hat made the Timejumpers news blog!

Ok that seems a worthwhile Hester family project.
I did e-mail Carolyn about it.
I expect about the same response.
