I'd like very much to acquire cassette or CD copies of several of my favorite albums that disappeared three years ago. Might any of you be able/willing to help me. Tower records and others in this area do not have them any longer. They are: (from the early 1980's) HOOKED ON CLASSICS I, II, and III. Also, HOOKED ON SWING and hooked on TV-theme songs. I'd appreciate any help you might wish to extend. THANK YOU in advance.

James, I'd like to take you up on your kind offer however my eMail to you this evening was rejected by AOL, alleging that I send out bulk mail and have lots of complaints.
NOT TRUE! on either count.
Where do we go from here?

Ray, do not be concerned, that is simply aol and their masterstroke plan.
They simply block whole servers for a month or two to stop a small amount of spam when compared to the actual customer base.

It's not that they don't have any respect for other networks, or that they're unable to grasp that they're ideas are sadly outmoded, they're just here to help.

I only got blocked from a good 85% of my aol contacts for a measly month or three, and I'm sure that none of their customers gets spam anymore.. but then, why are they blocking you and countless others?

hmmm....

One way to get around is wait, or to set up a Yahoo account or a similar free account, or simply get someone you know on another server to pass on your email for now.

(at this point, less with the wise-ass, more with the wisdom)

The latter is probably your best bet for now.

Ray -- You might check the local library. They usually have tons of stuff...if they have what you're looking for, you can take home and copy it.
