I haven't actually heard it yet. I only just the other day read that it even existed. It's a pop remix that apparently Lee Ann originally wan't too fond of, then she says it grew on her.
Has anyone here heard it? Did they spare Paul's zitar and regular steel work?

I heard it once, it sounds like Celine Dion type of mix. You would never expect it came from Country. |

You know the first time I heard the song was on the OPry live show and I must say I didn't like it at the time. Then I listened to the song on local radio and each time I heard it I liked it better and wound up buying the CD..I see nothing wrong in marketing in two fields having two versions..It's certainly has brought one great voice out to the forefront..I even like what Don Henley did with his song adding Paul Franklins great steel..Everyone appreciates a good Singer and a great song..Even my rock buddies who use to get me up on their stages always insisting I do Hag stuff shows the popularity of good music...No question in my mind this girl is a great Country singer..

Glad to see your post. I was riding with my daughter last week and she changed the radio to a local pop station that was in the middle of Lee Ann's song. I made the comment that it must be a new mix because I didn't hear any steel.

I've listened to the remix a few times now.
Does anybody know who did it? It seems so retro in the pop genre that I can't work out whether it was done by somebody who knows nothing about the way that dance genres have gone for the last fifteen years, and has just thrown in all the cliches that they can think of. (there are even Synth handclaps on it!)
Alternatively it might be some Hip, Urban DJ type being ironic about a Country song by producing a sort of Redneck Rave,or Acid Country House.
I think there is still some steel on it, but it runs through the filter sweep so it's hard to pick out from the analogue synth.
Any ideas- who is the guilty man?

Well, now i'm confused. It started out Lee Ann Womack and morphed into Leann Rhimes... or not... maybe? I don't know.
