Hi John

No knees on this one. I have the e raise on the first pedal and then a b c and the e lower is on pedal 10. Very simple setup and fun as hell to play. Sounds killer. I am thinning the herd so to speak and will just be playing my 73 Pro 2. Its all the guitar I need at this point.

Not much action on this guitar. This is a really nice specimen and works great. Its all setup E9 C6. 1500 is exactly what I paid for it 7 or 8 months ago because I wanted a nice, complete one. Someone is going to LOVE this guitar. It is 2 raise and 2 lower and stays in tune great. NO cabinet drop at all and the pulls stay in tune practically forever. The tone is really clear and warm. Some body buy it before I keep it. I HAVE to thin the herd.

People are going to be kicking themselves for letting one of these in this condition go for this price -- especially once they realize how much more the 2000 has to offer than the 1000 or the 400 (10 strings on each neck, 10 pedals, double raise and lower) PLUS the great Fender tone!

Right you are Jack. They are great sounding guitars and IMO the caddy of the fender steels( not including the 210)
It is the best sounding C6 I have heard.
I have gigged with it on occasion and it is a hoot. Sounds stunning with a passive pedal and a fender amp. I am sure I will shed a tear when Im packing it up and I cant say that about many steels.

Curly Chalker started playing one of these in 1964 and recorded his "Big Hits On Big Steel" in 1965 on Columbia Records. It's still my favorite steel album of all time. This is a beauty.

My email will hopefully clear up by tomorrow. Josh, if you read this, I havent been able to send or recieve since early yesterday or the day before. The guitar still has your name on it and if you decline I think Basil h would love it. You can post on this thread if you wish to and we can take care of it this way or wait for my email. Thanks

Hi Mark,
Tried again to send you an email, a few moments ago. This is probably the best way to communicate for now. I'm in Australia so the time difference is screwy. I think I'm two days and 15 minutes ahead of you.... I'll try to call you later today, er yesterday.... And a check will be in the SNAIL mail....!

Good to hear from you Joshua. My email has been driving me crazy. Ill be in tomorrow about 10 am(9 hours after this post if that helps) I dont know how that relates to your time over there. I still have your shipping address from that last email befor the server got clogged with mindless Halloween emails. I have another guitar for sale which is all screwed up on account of my email being random and non responsive. Gotta love technology. Let me know when you send the funds and an ETA. You still have my address?correct? Thanks .

If the cheque gets 'Lost in the Post' I'll be more than happy to look after the guitar whilst you look for the cheque
