Hello David.... very interested in the Derby. I am in central PA and would like to drive out this Sat. and play it. If it sounds & looks as good as I expect I would pay cash and take it home. Please let me know if Sat. is possible for you. Would be about a 6 hour drive to you in Canton. Would need directions and time you are available....
Thanks....Wayne Wallett

Hi David..... I have decided to not buy the Derby. I am sure it's a great guitar from our conversation. I don't want to tie this guitar up from other buyers so it's available as far as I am concerned. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I will call you so you know.
Regards,
Wayne Wallett

I was going to post on this thread the other day but saw that the man wanted to buy it from Pennsylvania so I refrained. The fact is that this Derby is a class guitar and in excellant shape. Dave Decker is also a stand up guy who's reputation you can always count on. If you're looking for a great guitar that you can get now and play now and be proud to own, then by all means shoot Dave an e-mail. You'll be happy in the end

I can't believe there is little interest for a 2 year old Derby for a price like this. Maybe the price is to low and your thinking there must be something wrong with it. I can assure you this guitar is very clean, and plays as it should. I have a new Performance coming and need to sell this.

For a Derby in the condition you described, that is an excellent price, IMHO. I have owned 2 in the past and i paid quite a bit more for both. Wish i could feed 2 steels, then i'd jump on it.

Guy's, You better look hard at what your passing up here. Top of the line guitar,at an excellent price. You won't find one at this price for a D10 Derby. I had two people I was trying to make a deal with and was afraid this one was going to get away before I could make up my mind. The only reason I didn't buy this one is I decided to go with a Laquer body.
