Burgundy LeGrande II(currently the sticker reads just 'LeGrande, but I have the II sticker), with George L E-66s, 8&4. This guitar has the classic LegRande growl and warmth. I'll include a bunch of rods and clips.

$2,400, I'll split shipping in the lower 48.

I'm not sure, I bought it used last year. My guess is it was made in the 90s.

I've seen this guitar that Chad is selling and it's a beautiful instrument. Chad takes care of his steels, and is a very trustworthy guy.

This is a really, really nice LeGrande. I looked at it very close at the Dairy State show last weekend. If you're looking for a great LeGrande check this one out.

Allen:
The set-up is 8&4. Standard C6th with two knee levers; one raises the fourth string, the other lowers the third.

The E9th neck has the standard Emmons set-up and the RKL raises seven and one a full tone.

This probably a dumb question but why is the serial number important? It is an all pull that is in great shape. It plays and sounds as good as any Emmons I ever heard. Chad doesn't own junk.

I'd like to know the serial number too. I'm looking for another LeGrande that is roughly the same vintage as mine.

When spending $2,400 there are no un-important questions. The 4 or 14 hole bellcranks is a very good question. As for the serial #, this tells a person a lot about the Emmons guitar. Especially the mechanics, the fabricator, & age.

For what it's worth, I have one of Chad's former guitars and if mine is any indication - and I suspect that it is - he takes great care of his gear. He's also a great guy with whom to do business.

I just asked guys. I didn't know it would become an issue. I just wanted to know why the serial number issue. Now I know. Randy, it is burgundy.

The guitar does have the 14-hole bell cranks.

The serial number is: 1243L

Thanks, Chris & Craig
