Hi John,
I've never attempted to weigh it out of the case, but in the case it's 39 Kilo's.

I don't know if our bathroom weight can take the combined weight of me and the Sierra and the Sierra is presently in it's case - has been for 3 years - but I'll set it up later today and give it a try !

Update :
I just got a brief moment of extreme smartness, happened once before, I think it was in -72 : I'll take the steel OUT of the case and weigh me and the case instead

John,
The case weighs in at 10,5 Kilo's so the steel must be 28.5 !

BTW I have the 39 Kilo's from the luggage-scale in CheckIn at the airport in Seattle.

That's perfectly okay John, off course !

Sierra's are not exactly known for being lightweight, but they ARE known for being some of the most durable steel's out there, especially the Crown series, which are build almost like a Sherman tank !
