| This is serial# 1447, 1970 Fatback, Rosewood, 8x4 with E66 pickups. Will include original 16.5K single coils. Case in fair condition with leg and rod pouch. What makes this steel unique is the pedal bar is made of matching formica on front, top and bottom. The backside of the pedal bar has the black factory flocking. The fretboards are black with white atomic symbols. Overall condition good. Photos to follow thanks to the help of fellow forumite Eric West. | Jim, thanks for the ? about the screws and jack. The original owner was a C6 jazz player and custom ordered this guitar. The steel was originally 10 pedals, no knees. He had some device attached to the tuner endplate and used an additional output jack for some electronic purpose. The holes are now plugged with counter-sink phillips machine bolts and the output jack is no longer wired. The second owner sent the steel back to the Emmons factory to have 2 pedals removed, 4 knees added and rewire the pickups to 16.5K ohms. |

| Also, the setup is standard Emmons except for pedals 4 & 8 which are reversed and RKL lowers C6 string 3 to B and RKR raises C6 string 4 to Bb. There are 2 bellcranks available for RKL E9, but no changes are in place. |

I went to Doug's place last night to see and hear a Nashville 112. It is OK for a small lightweight amp, I was not disappointed in the sound potential.
I also played the PP (above) that Doug has for sale. It sounds terrific, clean and clear all the way up the neck.
The wood pedal rack seems strange to me but it does not flex at all. This guitar has some features that Doug discribed that may seem out of the ordinary, but if you want a PP that sounds great for a price that includes shipping give Doug a call, or call me.

Larry. I think I told you I ordered a Hilton, which is long overdue, and I've stress tested the 112 at a loud bar gig. I heard it compress a bit, but including the lows, unless I was hurting something, it held up fine. Considerign I've had to push my knob settings up so damn far to make up for the 30% loss I've ALWAYS gotten with the AB EJ pots, I think everything will be a little nicer.
Now I'm bi-amping with it and my NvL400, and I can always use it as the high end of a variable crossover in my Session 500 MK IV.
I'll have to go over and see DJ's Emmons, but a lot of day work is swamping me. Weekends too with gigs.
No rest for...

OK Doug I guess it is time to raise the price. Most PP's sell for around $2800 in good condition and $2400 if fair condition, since yours is certainly in the ballpark maybe $2502 would be a better place to start.
I think most may think that this guitar is too cheap and not worth the money even at $2000 w/shipping.
Well we both know different, so time to get in the game and give them what they want a good guitar at a fair market value price. You tried, I know you did, I was with you every step of the way.
PS: Pete Burak is going to get us together and check out the Black Box soon.
