......if so, I am looking for a good used volume pedal to get started on. It must be in good working order and not have any pot problems or scratching. I just need something to start using and I am not really sure what is good and what is not. Once I have been able to play something and the dog doesn't howl, then I will probably look into buying a new one.

The Goodrich guys have been building pedals for steel guitar for years.
Robert Martin has a Goodrich Low Profile 120 listed over on Amps and Acc'y. just in case you didn't see it. |
