Older Peavey Nashville 400 with Ken Fox chips and new reverb tank. Black Widow speaker. The amp works fine but there is a ring in the reverb circuit when the reverb is turned up…I used a reverb pedal in the effects loop and turned the reverb down. $250 OBO.

Located in Wichita, KS, the amp is too heavy to ship so it would be a local sale at this time. I would be willing to travel a reasonable distance to deliver or meet.

Jon- my session 500 has the same "ringing" happen when the reverb is turned up. I believe it is feedback caused by vibrations of the cabinet stirring the reverb tank (especially if the reverb is cranked). I fixed this by putting a layer of cheap acoustic foam underneath the reverb tank bag, then resecuring the tank bag. So far so good.

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the tip, Henry. I'll give this a try.
