Late 70's era Erickson Universal, good condition, plays well. I'm the second owner.
I started playing Ericksons when I lived in Northern Minnesota in the early 70's and traded for this one in the mid 90's after owning a Carter Universal. I play primarily non pedal these days and this needs a new home. It's an excellent guitar.
It has a ZB All pull, 2 raise, 2 lower changer typical of the era. I think this is the second Universal built after Albert Svendal's guitar and is rock maple, and built by Elvin and his son Buddy.
It has Elvins original hand wired pickup and other than changing the E lower KL to the RKR, and a once over by Bill Rudolf at the time, it is unchanged, as built. The pedals have the Newman Universal config. and the knee levers lower/raise the E's, B>A# and D#>D.
Some finish checking from a few cold Minnesota Winter's nights, but otherwise, pretty good shape. The case was refitted with wheels and a heavy duty handle. It's a heavy guitar and I would assume it's about 70 Lbs in the case.
