Getting ready to clean house and wondering what is the going rate for a Peavey Power Slide. I have not seen one listed on the SGF in ages. Most of the listings I find online seem higher than I expected and I don't want to gouge (don't want to sell cheap, either). Thanks. |

Hi Mike, when I want to see actual selling prices for something, I use the Reverb search function (Peavey Power Slide), then filter for "Show Only = Sold", then sort by "Most Recent." Doing that, the last 11 Power Slides sold in the past 6 months on Reverb went for an average of $373 before tax and shipping, with a range of $275 to $425. (That's not counting the custom Robert Randolph model that went for $600.) These "sold" prices, although not 100% reliable, are closer to reality than the listed prices. _________________ Long-time guitar player, now wrestling with lap steel. |

FWIW, on eBay one sold for $198+$79 shipping and another for $329+$40 shipping. _________________ If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play.
I haven't met a guitar I didn't like. |

Late 90s at the ISGC Mike Brown was displaying them at their premier introduction. Manufacture Suggested Retail was $199 FWIW. |

For my money the later models with adjustable bridges are the only choice. Early models used bent metal bridge and nut and intonation is a problem. I paid $400 for one new in the box and felt justified. Even in new condition the old style guitars are worth $200 IMHO. |

Thanks, everyone, for the useful info. Mike, I did a search on Reverb and I don't see a "Show Only" option. |

Once you have the search results, look for the "All Filters" option at the top.
After you click on "All Filters", scroll down to "Show Only", click it, select "Sold Listings" and click "Show Results."
