A Little Mental Health Warning:
Tablature KILLS SKILLS.
The uses of Tablature is addictive and has been linked to reduced musical fertility.
Those who produce Tablature did never use it.
I say it humorously, but I mean it. |

300 per year? That’s pretty good production considering all that high end hand crafting. Must be quite a team. |

Yeah, I remember John calling me all excited in the second half of the 90’s when Carter first reached that number! 😂

I bet pedal harpists bicker over tuning. And picks or no picks 😎
Of those 300/year that Camac produces, I wonder how many of them are the $70k variety that is featured in the video. |

Stravinsky complained that harpists spend half their time tuning and the other half playing out of tune.
And before anyone asks, they tune in equal temperament _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Building a pedal harp is like a whole different universe compared to assembling a PSG. It's like going from building with Duplo blocks to crafting a tiny ship in a bottle. The level of skill and patience needed must be off the charts. |

Was it Stravinsky or Nostradamus predicting about Pedal Steel Guitars?
