Just acquired this one. Does anybody recognize it?
Lovely sounding guitar. If there's a interesting history behind the moniker and this guitar, I may leave
the nameplate on,otherwise I'm not adopting a new nickname😁. It does have a copedant that I'm not familiar with, vertical KL raises the f#'s to G, and RKL raises B's to Bb. This is throwing my already strained mind off kilter. Hopefully it won't be to hard to change it to what I'm used to. Bb's on the vertical.

RKL is actually lowering B to Bb. F#s to G is a very common change, has been for many decades.

Right, lowers........it the switch of the vertical and knee levers that's throwing me off. All my other guitars have the B>Bb on the Vertical knee lever.

Carters are pretty easy to work on.

I'll go forward with that advice, it would be harder to re- train my brain to knee activity. 😉

If the Vertical Lever and RKL are tunable in their present setup. Make drawings of Changer Holes and Bell Crank Holes, Take pictures too. It should be easy to reverse them to match what you are used to.

Good Luck in changing the levers, Happy Steelin.

Thanks guys for the encouragement! Lots of pictures... yes. Not too concerned with the knee lever, but I need my RKL set up like I learned on, 2 raises and a lower on it. Looks like this Carter can do it. I have a GFI set up that I might can visualize from. My hats off to y'all that can change copedants at will, to play what you want to hear. I have enough trouble making music with just the basics.
