We know all Supros are very cool....but this model (I believe the "Jet Airliner") is extra cool. It has the controls and input jack away from the player, for easy access. Plus, the dark fingerboard is a LOT better onstage than the white ones. No affiliation, but these are my personal fave Supros.

Mr. Fogarty, I couldn't agree more. The 1466BW Jet Airliner has a special place in my heart, partly because a 1960 Supro Jet Airliner was my very first steel guitar, which I still have and she still sings as good as ever after all these years. This model just has such class to it that isn't matched by any other lap steel. By the way, yours was made in '61 based on the serial number, Mr. Snelgrove. _________________ I'm waitin' for the pardon that'll set me free,
