Selling my 1979 BMI S10. I've owned it since 2011, bought from Steel Guitars of North County, and they replaced the fingers last year with parts made by BMI and installed by Jim Palenscar. Great playing guitar, great tone especially. It has a pickup likely wound by Zane Beck himself according to BMI based on the date it was built. Only selling because I've purchased an SD-10 which is much easier for me to play. Sad to sell, especially after all the work out into it. I have the case it came with and a custom road case with wheels.

Standard pedal setup. ABC on the floor. The E half tone raise and lower are on LKL and LKR. RKR lowers strings 2&9 a half tone. RKL lowers string 5 half tone and raises string 1 whole tone.

Asking $2,000 based on what I've seen these models sold for on Reverb and here on the SGF. For trades, I'm interested in extended E9, would consider a trade plus cash.

If Jim Palenscar worked on it you can be sure it plays primo.

Aaron,
Is it a Pull-Release or All-Pull changer? Sorry for my ignorance.

Marty, those are all pull systems. I’ve always been a fan of these BMI’s. The original single coils sounded great as well, almost as good as the 705’s. 🙂

Sorry for the delay, I can post pics of my cases. The road case is a Gruene case. It's amazing, has wheels.

I have a bmi 12. 7 pedals. 4 knee. It's too much for me as a beginner. I can send pics if you're interested in a trade. Let me know what it is worth to you.
