The first "DePaule Slick Slider 8" is done.
Took me way too long to get it done, but it is a proto-type and that means altering the plans here and there along the way.
This one is the long 24 inch scale and sounds very good.
The second one will be a short 22.5" scale that I intend to keep.

Wild Tiger Striped Maple center body with Figured Claro Black Walnut and Quilted Maple outer wings. Gotoh Tulip Silver Tuning Machines and a Lace Alumitone Pick Up....
It has a soft Vinyl case with a large pocket and handles as well as back straps. $1,200.00 or best reasonable offer, Plus shipping in the lower 48 states.

Yes the Alumitone is amazing. Sounds great and has a wide range of tone using just the tone control.
Not quite sure how it works, but please don't explain it to me because I'm still trying to understand light bulbs!

Yes it was inspired by the National New Yorker's very kool design.
I made a few changes to suite my own styling ideas as well as some for function.

The design is based on the National New Yorker lap steels from the 1940's though I made several changes and alterations from the originals that were 6 strings.

Is the price too high?
I feel like it's a good value, but I've only had one person offer that.
After he offered he pulled out a few days later with an excuse?
Would be interested to see how much forum members think it should be listed for?
Please chime in and I promise not to get angry. What I think it's worth is not relevant.
