I have recently acquired a mid-50's Gibson D-8 console with 4 legs, 24-3/4" scale with the 4-8-4 pole pickups. It is in good shape, but the logo/letters fell off the front. I found the black "Gi" in the case and am interested in finding another logo. Also, I'm curious what this steel might be worth. It has 4 way switches on each neck, volume and tone controls and 3-way neck selector. It is Oak in color with black binding. Looks cool, sounds better. Thanks, -DJ-

Hi Doug. I've got the same steel. I've found that a lot of the printing places, will make up a decal for you, if you show them something to copy. If you like, I can send you a pic of mine, and you can go from there. If you can find a Gibson person, it should be worth between $4-700.00. I've got 5 different Gibson consoles, and I think they're great for playing "BIG" music. Let me know if I can help. Joe
