I first met Dave in Portland... when I was up there for a week of business meetings.

Dave picked me up at my hotel, and took me on a tour of bars that might have steel a guitarist... ending up at the Ponderosa... where 3 steel players sat at a bandstand table, another played bass with the band, and a 3rd played his Emmons on stage.... wow, what a night.

Ahhhh, you mean Rockland, CA... if so, yeah Roseville is like 5 miles west of there...

If you mean Rockland, somewhere in New York Smile
