Sometime ago I saw a diagram of the working of an Anapeg guitar,,along the pics of one being built in various stages of construction etc. I think it was done by Winnie Winston but I can't find it on his website. Anyone know where I saw it,,,or how to find it again???

Yeah - I seen that before (with all the outback queensland timber he personally selects!) and went back to find it and couldn't. It just disappeared. Work of Art.

If you guys wait a bit longer, my mate Ivan Posa will post up some photos of his new Anapeg which is due to be delivered soon ....after about a five year wait. I've seen a couple of preview snaps and it is just gorgeous !

The link that I think that you are referring to was posted by Winnie Winston and his site is no longer active since his passing. I have some pictures that I'm happy to pass along to those interested but none of the diagram of the working changer~

Zumsteel was without a site until last year or so as well, http://www.zumsteel.net

It would be great to have one for Anapeg, the page on Winnie's site was really nice and explained a bit about Noel's penchant for exotic woods, had some undercarriage shots as well as an instrument in progess (if I remember right...)

Well, since Noel is already backlogged many years, and not interested in volume production, he probably feels there's no real need to waste money advertising. (Can't say I blame him.) A few personal (word-of-mouth) referrals are all he needs to keep busy.

Sonny,
Check your email. I am sending you a Anapeg Catalogue that I ran up on these guitars. I haven't been able to relocate the site. The address at the bottom of the catalogue [http://www.homeopathic.co.nz/anapeg/anapeg.html] gives me an error. This has a good clear drawing and pictures of the changer and guitar in various stages of completion. I would appreciate any info that you have on these guitars also. They are really pretty guitars.

Winston
